Mesut Ozil offered a huge hint that his new Arsenal contract announcement is imminent with a cheeky tweet on Wednesday.
The German international will end months of speculation when he puts pen to paper on a new £350,000-a-week deal which will keep him at the Emirates until 2021.
Ozil had previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, the club his former Gunners teammate Alexis Sanchez joined this January, but he has apparently been won over by the new ambition shown by the Gunners following the signing of forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And the midfield schemer was clearly in a cheeky mood when he posted an image of himself signing personal photos on Twitter on Wednesday.
"Had a busy day signing things," wrote Ozil, along with a winking emoji and the hashtag #autograph.
He know exactly what he was doing.
The official announcement on Ozil's deal is expected imminently.
