Mesut Ozil has finally signed on the dotted line and got the pay rise he was pushing so hard for at Arsenal.

The German will now be at Arsenal until 2021 instead of letting the market decide where he goes as a free agent in the summer.

He's now up there with former team-mate Alexis Sanchez , who left for Manchester United, among the highest paid players in the Premier League.

Ozil will be on £350,000-a-week, even ahead of former most expensive player Paul Pogba.

Here is who is raking it in most in England's top flight after the January transfer window, with some big names bumped.

Notable omissions include Arsenal's new arrivals Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, along with Liverpool's £75m signing Virgil van Dijk, who are all on £180,000 a week.

Man United keeper David de Gea has also been bumped from the top 10, although it's fair to say he's unlikely to be stuck on £200,000-a-week for long.

10- Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea) - £220,000 per week

Estimates vary, but some reports suggest the Spain midfielder signed a contract worth £220,000 per week when he joined Chelsea from Barcelona for £30million in 2014. More conservative reports suggest a pay packet of around £180,000 per week.

10- Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - £220,000 per week

10- Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) - £220,000 per week

The Swede might be at the veteran stage of his career, but his availability on a free transfer from Paris St Germain in 2016 allowed United to hand him a huge wage packet, worth a reported £220,000 per week.

6- Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) - £250,000 per week

United not only paid a Premier League record £75million - plus a potential further £15million in add-ons - for the striker last summer, but also agreed to pay him a reported £250,000 per week.

6- Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) - £250,000 per week

Announced at exactly the same time as Sanchez, De Bruyne will be earning slightly less than team-mate Sergio Aguero after signing on to stay at City until at least 2023.

4. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) - £260,000 per week

The prolific Argentinian, who this season became City's record goalscorer, signed his current deal in the summer of 2014. He is believed to be £260,000 per week making him narrowly the club's top-paid player.

3. Paul Pogba (Manchester United) - £290,000 per week

The France midfielder signed a contract worth a reported £290,000 per week when United brought him back from Juventus in a club record £89.3million deal in 2016. Reports suggest he is also in line for a new contract - and pay rise - in the near future.

2. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - £350,000 per week

He would have been a free agent in the summer but Arsenal have finally got the German to sign a new long-term deal. Ozil will be with the Gunners until 2021 now.

The Chile forward's switch from Arsenal is now confirmed and the 29-year-old will earn close to £500,000 per week before tax at Old Trafford. That is his basic wage plus image rights and bonuses. Nice work if you can get it.
