Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura after the Brazilian was shown around Tottenham's training ground.

That is according to The Telegraph, who say Spurs have jumped to the front of the queue in the race for the 25-year-old.

PSG are willing to let the flier leave the club and want around £22million to sell.

Mauricio Pochettino has also been keeping tabs on Bordeaux winger Malcom, another player Arsenal had watched, as he bids to bolster his attacking options this month.

Sanchez involved in drugs test mix-up

Alexis Sanchez was involved in a mix-up with drugs testers - but did NOT avoid a drugs test.

It is understood that FA drug testers were due to take a sample on Monday but had not been informed about Sanchez's whereabouts as the Chile forward completed his switch to Manchester United.

There are strict guidelines on informing the authorities about whereabouts of players at all times so they can be tested and that is the issue in this case as Sanchez was in Manchester rather than London.

United may also be under the spotlight if they did not inform the FA the whereabouts of Henrikh Mkhitaryan as he completed his swap deal with Sanchez.
