Besiktas are closing in on a move for West Ham striker Javier Hernandez.

That is according to Goal, who say the Mexican is on the radar of the Istanbul-based side.

Hernandez had been linked with an unlikely return to Manchester United to provide competition for Romelu Lukaku.

But it is reportedly Besiktas who have won the race and are set to take him to Turkey after just half a season in east London.

Hernandez arrived at the London Stadium for £15million and penned a three-year contract with the Hammers.
