Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc will reportedly fly to London on Saturday to finalise negotiations for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's transfer to Arsenal.

The Gabonese hitman is closing in on a switch to the Emirates as the Gunners bid to replace Alexis Sanchez.

Chilean star Sanchez is set to finalise his transfer to Manchester United where he is set to earn a bumper £490,000-a-week before tax.

And German publication WA say Zorc will jet to the British capital on Saturday to close out the move for Aubameyang.

Dortmund travel to Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga this evening but will be without Aubameyang as he bids to solve his future.

Zorc had labelled Arsene Wenger 'disrespectful' earlier this week for claiming Aubameyang had the right character to fit in at Arsenal.

"It is a lack of respect," said the Dortmund chief. "We believe Arsene Wenger has enough to think about when it comes to the performances of his own players."

When pressed on whether Aubameyang would fit in at the Emirates, Wenger said: "Yes, because character can be a very positive note.

"Look at the achievements of a player during his career and usually, when a career has been positive, the character has been positive."
