Julian Weigl has put Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal on alert by changing agents.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Weigl has made the intriguing move ahead of a potential summer switch.

Highly-rated anchorman Weigl, 22, has left his old representatives to link up with Germany's biggest agency SportsTotal.

Weigl's new representatives have strong links to the Premier League's top clubs, raising the prospect of a move to England for Weigl.

City, United and Arsenal have all had Weigl watched on several occasions this season and have him on their list of midfield targets for the summer.

Germany international Weigl's current Dortmund deal runs until 2021.

"We are very proud that Julian has chosen SportsTotal," said CEO Dirk Hebel.

"He is an outstanding personality and a great player with a brilliant perspective. We look forward to supporting him with all our strength."

Weigl had previously been looked after by EMG Mundial, whose CEO Michael Decker told SportBild he was "very surprised" by Weigl's decision.
