Thierry Henry insists he cannot be upset with Olivier Giroud for leaving Arsenal to join rivals Chelsea.
The champions swooped for the France international in an £18m move that was confirmed on Wednesday.
Despite admitting Giroud compliments Antonio Conte's style perfectly, Henry insists he cannot begrudge him his move.
"I understand what Arsene says, he doesn’t understand why people want to leave," Henry told Sky Sports News. "We all knew it was going to be this way with the domino effect that allows Aubameyang to come.
"I thought he did what he had to do for Arsenal. Chelsea are coming, they’re ahead of Arsenal at the moment.
"I cannot fault him, or be upset with him as he’s not playing at Arsenal. The way he likes to play, it suits the way Antonio Conte wants to play. I wish him all the best. We lost a supporting cast."
"You’re getting a guy with experience in the league, can score, hold up the ball. Now they have two options."
