Adrian Peterson hasn’t even been with the Arizona Cardinals for a week, but he’s already looking much more comfortable than he did in four games with the New Orleans Saints.
With just four carries on Arizona’s opening drive, the Cardinals’ new running back tallied 54 yards rushing and burst up the middle for a 27-yard touchdown.
The score was his first touchdown since Week 17 of the 2015 season after he missed most of 2016 due to injury.
By the second quarter, he already rushed for more yards than he had for the Saints:

He had 81 rushing yards in his 4 games with the Saints this season
In four games with the Saints, Peterson managed just 81 yards rushing and was relegated to just a few touches per game in a backfield that also featured Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. It already looks like the Cardinals are a much better fit.
