Timberwolves fans go nuts at Target Center while watching Vikings’ Hail Mary finish vs. the Saints

Minnesota fandom knows no bounds.

The Minnesota Vikings knocked off the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs by way of a 61-yard Hail Mary pass, but the celebrations weren’t limited to just football fans.

Timberwolves fans at the Target Center early for Minnesota’s Sunday evening game against the Portland Trail Blazers also caught the final moments of the Vikings’ breathtaking finish against the Saints. And it’s safe to say those NBA fans showed their true colors as super football fans, too.

It’s an awesome moment for the city of Minneapolis. It’s the first time the Vikings have picked up a playoff win since they lost to the Saints in the NFC Championship Game back in 2010. The Timberwolves are also hoping to break their drought of 13 straight seasons without a playoff appearance.

They’re 28-16 for No. 4 in the West, so barring a massive midseason meltdown, Wolves fans might have some cheering of their own to do come May.
