Fantasy football start/sit Week 6: What to do with Adam Thielen

The Vikings continue without quarterback Sam Bradford. We break down the fantasy implications for wide receiver Adam Thielen.

Minnesota’s No. 2 receiver, Adam Thielen, is seeing a lot of looks this season. Will that trend continue in Week 6? We break down the fantasy implications.

The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver is worth a look against Green Bay in Week 6. He’s been targeted at least eight times in all but one game this year. He’s got 40 targets in five contests overall.

It’s time for him to cash in against the Vikes’ division rival.

Fantasy impact: Thielen is getting a lot of opportunities to make an impact. He’s responded with at least five receptions in each of the last four games. Unfortunately he’s been held under 60 yards in each of three games this year.

Even at a high volume that’s not a lot of fantasy points to count. Theilen will need to do better. He should keep seeing looks against Green Bay, and hopefully he can catch a touchdown or go for a big game.

It might be easy to be frustrated with Thielen and sit him, but right now he’s got to be in PPR lineups as he’s a big part of the offense.

Recommendation: Start
