The Detroit Lions are listing Matthew Stafford as questionable to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.
Stafford has been hit and miss as a fantasy quarterback this season. Part of that was due to the Lions being a ground-and-pound team that could rely on their defense early on, but injuries have forced them to become a pass-heavy team in recent weeks.
However, Stafford has been battling leg and ankle injuries that have him iffy to play this week. Saints versis Lions is primed to be a shootout in New Orleans, and Stafford should have a big game against a vulnerable Saints secondary. Even if he’s limited his numbers should be that of a QB1 this week.
Fantasy Impact: If Stafford plays, he would face a Saints defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. As long Stafford is active, keep him in your starting lineup.
