Jordan Howard injury update: What to do with the Bears RB vs. the Steelers

We break down the fantasy impact of Jordan Howard continuing to battle a shoulder injury.

THe Chicago Bears are no longer listing Jordan Howard on the injury report, signaling he is good to go vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3.

Howard has been limited in practice this week due to a shoulder injury, which was also the case in Week 2, though he was active in a blowout loss to Tampa Bay. He got in a full practice on Friday this week, which helped get him off the final injury report.

Coming into 2017, Howard was viewed as a top 10-12 fantasy running back. However, he has been a major disappointment thus far, partly because of a shoulder injury, but also because rookie Tarik Cohen has looked just as good and continues to earn touches.

In two games, Howard has just 59 yards and one score on 22 runs to go with three catches for 14 yards. He had just seven yards on nine runs in Week 2.

Fantasy Impact: If Howard is active, he will face a Steelers defense allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this year. As much as it hurts, keep Howard on the bench this week.
