Saints vs. Packers 2017: Time, TV schedule, and live stream info

Can Green Bay bounce back after losing QB Aaron Rodgers for the season? We’ll find out in Week 7.

NFL: Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Can they win without their superstar quarterback? Just a week after the Green Bay Packers lost QB Aaron Rodgers to a broken collarbone, the team will play host to a New Orleans team on the upswing on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX (live stream).

The Packers will rely on backup Brett Hundley heading into this Week 7 matchup, and they will face an increasingly improving Saints secondary. With the addition of rookie Marshon Lattimore, — who recorded his first NFL pick-six last week — the New Orleans defense has been forcing turnovers at an impressive rate and will present an early challenge for Hundley and the Green Bay offense.

The new No. 1 quarterback for the Packers threw three interceptions last week after coming in for the injured Rodgers, including one on his first throw out of the gate. Hundley hasn’t had a chance to work with the first team offense and should benefit from a week with considerably more reps at practice.

Saints vs. Packers news:

Lattimore's play this season has put him in early consideration for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. The 11th overall pick grabbed his first career interception, aggressively jumping a 3rd Quarter slant route and snatching a tipped pass to return it 27 yards for his first career touchdown, giving the Saints what seemed to be an insurmountable 45-10 lead.

While Hundley had some positive moments during his first extended showcase, he mostly struggled, completing less than 55 percent of his passes and falling short of 5 yards per pass attempt. He also threw three interceptions, including one on his first throw.

Still, the outing provides little data for evaluation purposes. Hundley did not work with the No. 1 offense during the week and the coaching staff had to adjust on the fly after Rodgers departed. With a full week to prepare for his first regular-season start, the outcome could look quite different.

Saints vs. Packers predictions:

The Saints haven’t pulled off a win at Lambeau Field since 2006, but this is finally their year -- in large part to Rodgers absence — to finally turn the tide. The Saints prove to be too much defensively for the Packers to get any sort of traction in the end zone and head home 4-2 on the season. Only one of our eight experts disagreed in the Week 7 picks, while seven, along with OddsShark’s computer, took New Orleans.
