Real Madrid vs. Tottenham live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch Champions League online

Tottenham and Real Madrid are hoping to put on a Champions League match to remember.

One of the highest-profile matchups of the Champions League group stage this year is here, with Real Madrid hosting Tottenham Hotspur in a match that promises a high pace and lots of action from first whistle to last.

Neither club has quite enjoyed the start to their domestic seasons that they wanted, with Real Madrid sitting in third place in La Liga and Tottenham in the same spot in the Premier League. Both teams have been on a roll lately though, with Real Madrid winning four straight in all competitions, and Spurs running off five wins in a row.

This has all the makings to be an exciting match, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Isco, Dele Alli, Luka Modric, Christian Eriksen, Toni Kroos, Son Heung-Min, and so many others representing a massive amount of talent on the pitch slugging it out for supremacy. Both teams are willing to slow the game down and grind it out when needed — but this has all the makings of a game that will see some wild spells of end-to-end action, and that’s going to be incredible to watch when it happens.

Despite the good news of Marcelo returning to the squad, Real Madrid are dealing with a trio of potentially problematic injuries. Both Dani Carvajal and Mateo Kovacic have been out for awhile now, but Gareth Bale joining them on the sidelines removes a major part of Madrid’s attack from the equation, and they’ll miss his speed on the wing against his old club. Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, have problems of their own, with Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele expected to miss out, while Danny Rose, Ben Davies, and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou are all at less than 100%. That’s some tough talent to be without in a game like this, and it will be interesting to see how Tottenham respond tactically to that hardship.
