Winning the Europa League qualified Manchester United for this season's Champions League, and after their triumph, their players wanted to celebrate. So much so that a couple of them were not particularly enthralled with being asked to urinate into a cup in the middle of their celebrations. They are now in trouble for that.
Phil Jones has been banned for two European matches, while Daley Blind has been fined. The pair did not comply with the requests of anti-doping officials after the match, with Jones being cited for directing abusive language towards a doping control officer.
While this is certainly a less egregious anti-doping offense than being caught with drugs in your system, it's certainly not a great look. Generally, it's a good idea to do whatever the anti-doping officials say you should do.
