We’re not sure how someone would think of this move, or why a defender would ever try something this risky in their own half. But here’s Tottenham Hotspur right back Serge Aurier executing a unique backheel flick from his stomach, seemingly on purpose.
#thfc Brilliant play from Serge Aurier. Looks every bit the Kyle Walker replacement so far! #COYS pic.twitter.com/kbMZobolQa

If Borussia Dortmund hadn’t been as baffled as everyone in the stands, they might have made Aurier look terrible. This move has to go absolutely perfect for him, or else it would have gifted BVB a huge scoring chance. But incredibly, he pulled it off.
What should this move be called? Crawling backheel is the best we could do, but it hardly does this trick justice.
