Chelsea vs. Manchester City 2017 live stream: Start time, TV channel, and how to watch online

One of the biggest matches of the early EPL season is here, and it promises to be a barnburner.

The early stretch of the Premier League season often features a few matches billed as major tilts between some of the best teams in England, but with teams still finding their form in early matches, the actual games have often been lackluster. That does not appear as it will be the case here, though, with two very in-form heavyweights set to slug it out in London when Chelsea host Manchester City on Saturday.

Manchester City sit atop the Premier League right now, and Chelsea are in third place chasing their second straight EPL title. They’ve both been wildly impressive in the past few weeks — City have outscored their opponents 19-1 in their last five all-competitions matches, while Chelsea are at 17-2 in the same span. Few clubs have been able to keep up with them lately, and it’s going to be fascinating to see these two elite teams square off to fight for EPL dominance in this one.

But Manchester City have more questions to answer in their squad right now, having picked up two major injury concerns in the last few days, with Benjamin Mendy apparently tearing his ACL during the Champions League this past week, and Sergio Aguero suffering broken ribs in a serious car accident in which he was a passenger. Add that to the calf injury Vincent Kompany is still working through, and you have a few major injuries for City to deal with in crucial spots.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are only working without suspended defender David Luiz and injured midfielder Danny Drinkwater, leaving manager Antonio Conte feeling much more comfortable in his preparations for this match.
