Eden Hazard starred as Chelsea maintained a perfect start to their Champions League campaign with a last-gasp win against Atletico Madrid.

The Belgium international was instrumental as Antonio Conte's men fought back from a goal down to beat Atleti 2-1, with Hazard setting up Alvaro Morata for the equaliser.

It was the first time both Morata and Hazard have started a game together for Chelsea and the pair gelled immediately, linking up impressively as the Blues became the first English side to win at Atletico Madrid in 12 attempts.

Hazard said: "We are very happy. It was a tough game against one of the biggest teams in Europe. We deserved to win the game.

"(Michy Batshuayi) scores every time he gets on the pitch! He is a top scorer so I am very happy for him. Alvaro Morata too."

Attention now turns to Chelsea's Premier League campaign, with Manchester City due at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
