Chelsea press conference LIVE: Antonio Conte speaks on Manchester City team news, Sergio Aguero injury and more

Chelsea will be full of confidence when they host Premier League title rivals Manchester City on Saturday.

Antonio Conte's champions secured a 4-0 win away at Stoke last weekend, before going to Atletico Madrid's new Wanda Metropolitano stadium and clinching a last-gasp 2-1 Champions League victory on Wednesday to go top of their group.

Chelsea will now be hoping to enter the international break with a 100 per cent record for the week when they take on League leaders City at Stamford Bridge.

Pep Guardiola's City have been handed a major scare with the news of Sergio Aguero's car accident on Thursday, and are now likely to be without their star striker as well as defender Benjamin Mendy.

Conte will preview the match from 1.15pm on Friday, with Standard Sport's Vaishali Bhardwaj there to bring you updates.

Conte on not having Luiz available for the City game:

"For sure he is a big loss but I think Andreas is playing well and is showing he is a really good player with great maturity and experience to play with us."

Conte is first asked about Aguero and whether he has changed his preparations:

"No, but first of all I'm sorry about this situation. When you have this type of accident, it's not good but I hope he stays well."

Conte will be speaking to the press from 1.15pm today - and he is certainly set to be asked about City and the fact they come into tomorrow's game without Mendy and now, potentially, Aguero too.
