Cologne manager Peter Stoger offered "no comment" when asked about the behaviour of his side's fans against Arsenal.

With the Gunners gearing up for a first ever Europa League game, kick-off at the Emirates Stadium was delayed by an hour due to many away fans either travelling without tickets or purchasing tickets in home sections of the ground.

Four people were arrested amid chaotic scenes outside the ground as swathes of extra riot police were deployed in a bid to contain rowdy fans at the north London grounds.

Though only 3,000 tickets were allocated to travelling Cologne fans, an estimated 20,000 turned up for their club’s first European tie in 25 years.

Speaking after Cologne's 3-1 loss, Stoger refused to be drawn on the crowd trouble replying: "No comment."

When pressed on the matter, he said: "My job is football and not the fans."

Regarding on-field matters, Jhon Cordoba's 40-yard strike had put Cologne ahead, but substitute Sead Kolasinac's volley, Alexis Sanchez's superb curler and Hector Bellerin's 82nd-minute goal saw Arsenal win.
