Liverpool striker Divock Origi could move to Tottenham, according to his father.
The Belgian striker is yet to start a game for the Reds this season and his only Premier League appearance this season came against Watford.
Manager Jurgen Klopp refused to rule out the prospect of Origi moving on after Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for Origi, who they targeted in 2014 when the striker opted to move to Anfield, and his father Mike suggested that a move to north London could suit his son.
“Divock has to leave Liverpool to get more playing time,” he told DH.be. “Tottenham is a possibility, but there is also interest from France and Germany.”
Origi has scored 21 goals in 76 appearances for Liverpool since joining after the 2014 World Cup.
Spurs currently only have Vincent Janssen to provide cover for first-choice striker Harry Kane and are prepared to let the former move in the transfer window, though that would likely require them to sign a replacement.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has signed Davinson Sanchez and Paulo Gazzaniga so far this summer, has spoken of a desire to add three new players before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
