Eddie Howe has disregarded Tottenham’s Wembley form as a factor in their Premier League clash this weekend.

Spurs may have overcome their ‘hoodoo’ at the national stadium with wins against Borussia Dortmund and Barnsley in the Champions League and League Cup, however, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are without a home win in the league since leaving White Hart Lane.

Howe will take his side to Wembley this weekend looking to take hope from the likes of Swansea and Burnley who have both frustrated Spurs and earned a point on their travels.

However, the Cherries boss will not take their form into consideration this weekend, and says Pochettino’s side will be ‘fine’ in their temporary home.

“Tottenham will be fine there,” Howe said.

“It's about acclimatising. They're still a very capable and talented team as you saw in the game against Borussia Dortmund recently.

“We have to treat it as we're playing Tottenham, not the new stadium, it's about how we approach the performance. The bigger the crowd we hope the bigger performance.”

Spurs will be hoping to pick up their home form, with Wembley clashes against Liverpool, West Ham and Real Madrid following in the comings weeks.
