Fernando Llorente has hailed the form of Harry Kane as Tottenham prepare to face European giants Real Madrid.
Spurs return to Champions League action on Wednesday at the home of the holders, with Kane boasting five goals from two matches in a September which saw him score 13 goals across all competitions.
Amid transfer speculation linking Kane with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Llorente has backed the striker to make his mark on the largest stage once again.
"We have very good players, capable of playing very good football," he told Marca.
"With Harry Kane, everything he touches turns to gold. And he is very well protected."
Llorente has featured solely off the bench in the Premier League for Tottenham so far, playing just 22 minutes, but has seen enough to back a first title win in over 50 years.
He added: "It is time for Tottenham to win a title, and since I have arrived I am convinced that this year we can do it."
