Frustrated Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp loses patience in Champions League press conference

Jurgen Klopp lost patience in his press conference ahead of Liverpool's Champions League meeting with Spartak Moscow.

The 50-year-old was addressing the media ahead of his side's second European game of the season when technical difficulties and translation issues held up the process.

After stumbling through the stop-start process, Klopp became particularly frustrated when a member of the English press touched on recent comments made by Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, who said he was "in love" with Harry Kane.

The journalist asked: "Are you in love with any of your Liverpool players?"

“I am really impressed that we are in a Champions League press conference and talk about things like this," Klopp barked back, adding: "I don't understand the business anymore.

“Yes I love the club, that includes the players.

“I love Harry too but he is a Tottenham player. I love good footballers that is how it is.”

As a translator sat to Klopp's left attempted to relay the manager's comments in Russian to the local media, Klopp interjected.

“Actually, it is not important. It is not important for Russia," he said.

“It was just an English thing. ‘Pochettino loves Kane and who do I love?’ was the question. It's a waste of time."
