Tottenham talisman Harry Kane is the second-most valuable player in the world, behind only Neymar, according to a study by CIES Football Observatory.
Kane has enjoyed a stellar 2017, scoring 38 goals in all competitions as Spurs secured a record points haul and record finish of second in the previous Premier League season, and sit third after 11 games of this campaign.
Only Lionel Messi has scored more club goals during 2017 but it is Neymar, the world's most expensive player, who comes out on top "on the basis of an algorithm exclusively developed" by a research team.
Paris Saint-Germain smashed the world transfer record to trigger a release clause in Neymar's Barcelona contract during the summer, valued at £200m, and has since registered 11 goals and seven assists in 12 games.
Kane is, therefore, ranked as the most valuable player in the Premier League at €186 million (£163m), ahead of Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne.
Arsenal's most valuable player is Alexandre Lacazette while Chelsea's star is Eden Hazard and Liverpool's is Mohammed Salah.
Tottenham also boast the second-most valuable squad in world football, behind only City.
