When Arsenal have Alexis Sanchez, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil playing together, they will have a chance in every game.

But they will struggle to win enough points away from home because while Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsey are superb attacking players, they are reactive rather than proactive when defending.

Because they are such good players, they understand the timing of each other’s runs and the decisions they will make.

It doesn’t matter that they have hardly played together because they have an awareness of each other’s ability.

But Swansea cannot make the mistakes Everton did last weekend.

The way to play Arsenal is to drop off and force them to play in front of you.

If you press them, they will play around you - especially if you’re a team in the bottom half of the Premier League.

I’d advise Swansea to watch a film of the Everton game.

It will show them what not to do.
