West Ham captain Mark Noble has challenged his team-mates to “wear the shirt with pride” when they face Tottenham at Wembley.

Noble called a players’ meeting earlier this week to discuss the crisis at the club following the 3-0 home defeat by Brighton.

“This match against Spurs is probably a good game to play at the moment,” said Noble, who is expected to play in Wednesday's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie after being an unusued substitute on Friday night.

“If I’m honest, the game against Crystal Palace on Saturday is more important. We need to put Friday behind us as soon as possible. Spurs are flying at the minute, though, and we are going to have to be at it. At the end of the day, we need to fight and wear the shirt with pride.”

Manager Slaven Bilic, who has been given Wednesday's match and the Premier League clash at Selhurst Park to turn things around, is expected to make wholesale changes.

Adrian replaces Joe Hart in goal, while Michail Antonio, who injured a rib against Brighton, is ruled out.
