Pedro insists the Chelsea players feel confident despite their wobbly start to the season and are working hard to catch up with league leaders Manchester City.

The reigning Premier League champions have lost three games already this season, and were forced to come from behind to beat Watford 4-2 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

There had been reports leading up to that game against Marco Silva's side that the Chelsea players were frustrated with Antonio Conte's intensive training regime this season despite the increased number of games.

But Pedro has revealed the team are "feeling good" and confident about steadying their league form following on from their victory over Watford.

The Spaniard told Chelsea's official website: "The team is feeling good, we are confident and we want to continue in this way, taking it game by game, but we know it is very difficult.

"Now we will relax for one day and then continue to work hard and try to win games.

"Last season was very good for us and this season is different, but we will try to continue in this way, winning our games."
