Lucas Moura has been advised to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Arsenal in January by former Chelsea defender Alex.

PSG beat a handful of top European clubs to the signing of Brazil international Moura from Sao Paulo in 2012, with the forward going on to cement his place in the French giants' first-team.

But after a summer of big spending, Moura has found his game time limited this term - making just two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 so far this season.

That has led to Alex, who played alongside Moura at PSG for two years, to advise the winger to think about leaving the club for Arsenal, who he believes play "more technical" football than the Parisians.

Speaking to French sports newspaper L'Equipe, Alex said: "I would like to see him at Arsenal.

"They play cleaner football, more technical.

"He had contacts, I believe. That would be a good option for him this winter."
