Shkodran Mustafi is one one of several Arsenal players who could leave on deadline day though talks have stalled between the Gunners and Inter Milan.

As things stand, the clubs are unable to agree terms with Arsenal adamant they want a sale now rather than the offer of a season-long loan with an option to buy.

Germany centre-back Mustafi has been made surplus to requirements after just one season in England following a £35m move from Valencia but Arsenal's stance could change if they can agree a £30m deal with West Bromwich Albion for Jonny Evans.

Manchester City and Leicester are among the other clubs to have shown an interest in Evans.

Lucas Perez is expected to return to Deportivo La Corina in some form. The two clubs were close to agreeing a deal worth about £14m but the structure of payments became a key issue and Deportivo then reintroduced the idea of a loan. Talks are ongoing but an agreement is some form is expected given Perez has fallen out with Wenger over a lack of first team opportunities and is desperate to revive his career with a move.

Jack Wilshere's future is uncertain, with the midfielder keen on staying at Arsenal to fight for his first-team place, yet it remains possible he could leave today if a suitable club emerges.

Matthieu Debuchy is also available for transfer but nothing was imminent this morning, with the player preferring a return to France.
