I was glad to see that it was a good week for English clubs in Europe.

Everyone won, apart from Liverpool, who really deserved to beat Spartak Moscow.

For the last few years, English clubs have failed when it comes to the decisive games, but we have one more team in the Champions League this season and I expect our clubs to do well.

On Wednesday night, I watched Chelsea play Atletico Madrid and I thought Antonio Conte’s men were very strong and deserved to win.

They will miss a player like Diego Costa probably, but Alvaro Morata looks good, scoring his fourth goal in five days when he found the net against a very good Atletico side.

He is a different player to Costa, lighter, but he has settled in really impressively. I thought Tiemoue Bakayoko also looks really good.

Chelsea look strong — and especially when Eden Hazard is in the team.
