Mourinho's Red Devils thrash the Swans
1/16
Standard Sport19 August 2017

United struggled to break down Paul Clement's Swans in a physical first-half battle at the Liberty Stadium, but Bailly prodded home on the goal-line in first-half injury time after Lucasz Fabianski had tipped Pogba's header onto the crossbar.

Swansea fans may have felt aggrieved at the goal considering Pogba was given a final warning after just 30 minutes for a rough tackle on Martin Olsson, having been booked just minutes beforehand.

Clement's side failed to offer anything of note going forward having sold Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, and United made them pay with a three goals late in the second half.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan set up Lukaku for his third goal of the season 10 minutes from the end, and assisted another two minutes later as Pogba chipped Fabianski to seal the tie.

United and Pogba were not done there though, as the French midfielder then set up compatriot Anthony Martial for the fourth goal as the winger made another impressive cameo from the bench.
