Thierry Henry says he still does not know what Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's strengths are despite watching him "for a very long time".

The midfielder moved from Arsenal to Liverpool on deadline day with the hope of securing a central-midfield role after being utilised at wing-back in recent months for the Gunners.

Henry pointed to Oxlade-Chamberlain's praise for Klopp's "love and togetherness", questioning if he did not receive that from Arsene Wenger, before admitting he is clueless to the player's own strengths.

"He talked about his main decision in going to Liverpool was that he could see Klopp making him a better player and prove that a player loves to play for him that there is a love, togetherness, that he can put his arm around his shoulder.

"I'm thinking 'are you telling us what you didn't have at Arsenal or looking forward to something else?' Which one is it? Him saying that after having one hour of training with Klopp, is that him saying what he didn't have at Arsenal?

"Now, having said that, you have to bring something yourself. You talk about yourself - 'the manager is great, the manager is amazing' - and you talk about what you didn't have at Arsenal, apparently, you also have to bring something to the table.

"I've been watching him for a very long time and I still don't know what he is good at. You can find out about any player what they are not good at, but normally you find out what they are good at. That's one thing he needs to understand very soon."
