Tottenham have reached the last-16 of the Champions League after beating Real Madrid 3-1 at Wembley.

Spurs headed into Wednesday night's Group H clash needing a victory to secure qualification for the knockout stages of the tournament, and stunned the holders with two goals from Dele Alli and another from Christian Eriksen - with Cristiano Ronaldo adding a consolation goal.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have been in superb form in Europe this season despite being placed in a tough group along with Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Apoel Nicosia.

Spurs opened their campaign with a fine 3-1 win against Dortmund at Wembley on 13 September, and followed that up with a 3-0 away win at APOEL courtesy of a Harry Kane hat-trick.

Pochettino's men then earned a creditable 1-1 draw against Zinedine Zidane's Real at the Bernabeu, with Kane going close late on to sealing a shock victory in the Spanish capital.
