Mathias Jorgensen urged his team-mates to cut out mistakes after Harry Kane scored twice in Tottenham's 4-0 win at Huddersfield on Saturday.

Kane scored put Spurs in front inside 10 minutes, running clear of the home defence before beating Jonas Lossl at his near post before doubling his own tally with a fine strike from the edge of the box.

Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko were also on the scoresheet, but it was the menace of Kane which cost the Terriers as Mauricio Pochettino's men ended the game as a contest long before the interval.

Jorgensen said of Kane: "He's a goalscorer, and you give him half a chance and he will whip it into the top corner with his wrong foot."

Dele Alli also hit the post for Spurs in the first period and Jorgensen was frustrated with the Huddersfield performance before the break.

He added: "We showed a little bit (in the second half) the way we want to play this game, then again we concede in the end and we can throw all that out again.

"We need to make sure we play collectively as a team, like we did in spells today, and erase all the mistakes.

"It sounds easier than it is to do, but that's basically what we learned from today, you get punished."
