Benfica have become the latest club to be hit by a Uefa disciplinary charge for setting off fireworks in a European tie at Manchester United.

Last month Basel were fined 12,000 euros after their fans let off fireworks before their Champions League opener at Old Trafford in September.

United's second Group A match brought the same issue, with Uefa charging Benfica for the "setting of fireworks" as their side lost 2-0 in England on Tuesday evening.

The case will be dealt with by the Uefa control, ethics and disciplinary body on November 16.
