West Ham welcome back Winston Reid to his starting eleven against Liverpool after the New Zealand international withdrew from the Crystal Palace game at the last minute.

Despite travelling with the squad to south London, a calf problem forced him to sit out the draw, however, his presence is a silver lining for the Hammers as Bilic looks to tackle a defensive crisis against one of the most potent attacking sides in the Premier League.

Jose Fonte was injured against his former club last weekend, and will now be sidelined until the New Year, while Bilic is also without James Collins, Michail Antonio and Sam Byram through injury with summer signing Pablo Zabaleta also absent due to suspension.

For the visitors, Daniel Sturridge – who scored in a 4-0 win at London Stadium last season – was ecpected to keep his place in the side in the absence of Philippe Coutinho, though Jurgen Klopp has sprung a surprise and named Sadio Mane in his starting XI after he returned to training this week.

Here are the confirmed teams...

West Ham XI: Hart, Reid, Kouyate, Ogbonna, Fernandes, Obiang, Lanzini, Noble, Cresswell, Ayew, Hernandez.

Substitutes: Arnautovic, Carroll, Adrian, Sakho, Haksabanovic, Masuaku, Rice.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Moreno, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane.

Substitutes: Karius, Lovren, Milner, Sturridge, Grujic, Solanke, Alexander-Arnold.
