Michail Antonio is convinced West Ham have the quality in their squad to extricate themselves from the relegation zone.

The Hammers welcome Huddersfield to the London Stadium marooned at the bottom of the table having lost their opening three games, conceding a league-worst 10 goals in the process.

Meanwhile newly-promoted Huddersfield are yet to concede a goal in the top flight and will be confident they can spoil West Ham’s first home game of the season.

However Antonio, who is still looking to gain match sharpness after returning from a hamstring injury last month, is convinced that West Ham have the quality to pull clear of the relegation zone, starting with tonight’s game.

Slaven Bilic laughs about nickname directed at West Ham owners

“It’s just one of those things where we’ve had a bad start, we’ve made a couple of mistakes by players,” he told Sky Sports.

“We’re going to pick ourselves up. It’s important to win, we’ve got to get ourselves on the table especially with Burnley and Newcastle winning again.

“We’re all professionals and we believe in our ability. We’ve got the squad to bring ourselves up the table and we will do that.”
