STOKE CITY are set to complete the signing of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting on a free transfer, according to reports.
The Cameroon international has reportedly penned a three-year deal with the Potters after deciding against extending his contract with Schalke this summer.
Potters boss Mark Hughes has been in the market for a winger to replace Marko Arnautovic, who signed for West Ham in a club-record £24.5million deal.
The Welshman will be delighted with his latest signing and will see the addition as a shrewd piece of business.
According to Sky Sports, the deal has been completed and Stoke are set to officially unveil Choupo-Moting within the next 24 hours.
The 28-year-old started 19 Bundesliga games last season, scoring three goals, but hasn't played a game since April through a serious injury.
Choupo-Moting has the ability and pace to beat his defender but often frustrates because he fades in and out of matches.
He has racked up 42 caps for his country and has found the net 13 times.

Meanwhile Stoke could also pursue their interest in Andros Townsend.
