He said: "I'm personally convinced that [a female manager in the Premier League] will happen soon."

The Gunners manager, who signed a two-year contract extension at the end of last year, cited Corinne Diacre appointment at French side Clermont Foot as an example.
The Ligue 2 side have pioneered diversity in football, hiring Helena Costa as the first woman to manage in the top two tiers of any European league in 2014.
But Costa resigned after a month prompting Clermont to replace her with another female coach, Diacre.
The former France international, who was capped 102 times, has held the position over the past three seasons, finishing in 12th, 7th and 12th respectively.
The Frenchman also predicted that football clubs may one day be managed by technical analysts rather than "football specialists."
