Sam down the pan

Samir Nasri’s hopes of leaving Manchester City dealt blow over his £10m valuation and £9.6m in wages

Frenchman is struggling to attract any offers because he currently pockets around £185,000-a-week at the Etihad.

SAMIR NASRI faces being stuck in Manchester City exile as clubs refuse to pay £10million to end his Etihad nightmare.

The main stumbling block remains the 30-year-old's wages as he currently pockets a staggering £185,000-a-week.

Pep Guardiola's side are desperate to get Nasri off the wage bill but he still has two years remaining on his current contract.

The French outcast spent last season on loan at Sevilla but failed to live up to expectations scoring just twice in 22 La Liga starts.

According to the Telegraph, City want between £10m and £15m to cash in which would save forking out the £18m wages it would cost to keep Nasri at the club.

Nasri joined the rest of the squad on their pre-season trip to America but his team-mates were left questioning the move because 'he is very unpopular due to his arrogant attitude.'

Turkish side Antalyaspor, who have Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o on their books, have already shown an interest to sign Nasri.

The playmaker has already sold off his £5.75m mansion in England, which suggests that he is preparing to leave.

But Nasri isn't the only City player looking for a way out of the club.

Forgotten flop Eliaquim Mangala has been told he has no future at the club whilst striker Wilfried Bony is another braced to leave.

Swansea have been trying to re-sign the Ivorian but continue to stumble over his wages.
