‘The second best one’ Tottenham fans troll Manchester City for not buying the best Kyle Walker at the club
Fans took to twitter to take a swipe at Pep Guardiola's side for spending £50 million on Spurs' 'second best right-back'
TOTTENHAM fans trolled Manchester City for paying £50 million for "the second best Kyle Walker" in the Premier League.
The Spurs' faithful were comparing the 20-year-old Kyle Walker-Peters and Sheffield-born Kyle Walker who recently left the club to join City.
Walker-Peters was named man of the match on his Premier League debut against Newcastle on Sunday.
And the London-born right back's performance in Spurs 2-0 win over the Magpies led many to draw comparisons between him and Walker.
Twitter went wild with many hailing Walker-Peters as Walker's successor.
One tweeted: "Who needs Kyle Walker when you can have Kyle Walker-Peters."
Another wrote: "Spurs lose Kyle Walker, replace him with Kyle Walker-Peters. Checkmate."
