Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirms greatest ever team-mate throughout his career…and it’s not who you would expect
The Manchester United ace delivered a surprising response when he was asked to name the most talented player he has ever played with
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has played for Barcelona, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, PSG and Manchester United throughout his successful career.
When asked who was the best player that he'd ever played with, the Swedish forward answered with former team-mate Adriano.
This was not the response that was expected considering Ibrahimovic's collection of world-class team-mates throughout his 27-year career.
For a short while, Adriano was considered to be one of the world's greatest striking prospects - scoring 29 goals in 50 appearances for the Brazil national team.
However, the striker struggled with depression following the death of his father.
Adriano turned to alcohol and drugs, which resulted in his promising career taking a tragic nosedive.
"I played with players that I saw was a talent. But the one I felt could do it longer was, and he didn't do it, was Adriano," said Ibrahimovic during an interview with SportBible.
"When I came to Inter, the first thing I said to the president was that I demand to play with him because he is the player I want to play with.

"Nobody could take the ball, he was a pure animal."
Ibrahimovic spent two seasons playing with Adriano at the San Siro, just before the Brazilian's career collapsed.
The 35-year-old impressed during his time with Brazilian outfit Flamengo, where he earned a recall to the Brazil national side.
He then signed for Miami United in January 2016, but he did not manage to play a game for the American team.
