Man City new boy Benjamin Mendy gets parking ticket as he leaves £250k Ferrari in taxi rank while he gets Nando’s… before reversing the wrong direction down a one-way street
The Citizens' summer signing makes a sequence of errors outside his hotel in the Manchester city centre before finally forking out £6 for a ticket
MANCHESTER'S City's £49million summer signing Benjamin Mendy has landed in trouble after leaving his £250,000 Ferrari in a taxi rank so he could get a Nando's.
The 23-year-old left his F12 F2X illegally parked for an hour in Manchester city centre.
As a result, Mendy received a £60 parking ticket for his actions - not that this will dent his whopping £100,000-per-week pay package from City.
After disappearing for over an hour, the defender came out of The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel clutching his takeaway Nando's bag.
He then hopped back into his black super car and reversed the wrong way down a one-way street.
Mendy then decided to park legally and collect a ticket from a PayPoint machine - which cost him £6.
The Frenchman can be seen sporting an all-white outfit with black trainers, and of course, his blue Pogba-esque haircut.
Mendy joined Pep Guardiola's side on a club-record five-year deal from French giants AS Monaco earlier this summer.
The left-back has been suffering with a thigh injury since joining the Premier League giants and is yet to make his debut.
However, he has returned to first-team training, so the in-demand defender could be appearing soon.
With Guardiola short of defensive options, Mendy is expected to cement his position in the first-team in his favoured full-back role.
Mendy's social media antics have already made him a hit with the City fans, and he now has more than 305,000 Twitter followers.
