Arsenal and Liverpool given green light to move for Arda Turan after Barcelona tell him he can leave for nothing
Turkey international is not in Ernesto Valverde's first-team plans and the 30-year-old has already been linked with a move to the Premier League
BARCELONA are so desperate to get rid of flop Arda Turan they will let him leave for nothing, according to reports.
The Turkish international has had a nightmare time at the Nou Camp since his £24million move in 2015.
A transfer ban meant the midfielder couldn't play first-team football for the first six months but has ended up starting just 23 La Liga matches since January 2016.
And it appears Arsenal and Liverpool can now swoop for their transfer target with Barca willing to let Turan leave before the end of the transfer window according to Spanish publication Sport.
Both Premier League clubs have been linked with the Turk this summer with Arsenal previously lining up a £30m switch.
Turan was told he was free to leave the club last January and had the chance to join China in a mega-money deal.
But he decided to stay put and is prepared to sit in the fringes of the first-team with his contract expiring in 2020.
With Luis Suarez out injured and Neymar playing in a Paris Saint-Germain jersey, Turan did make the bench in Barca's 2-0 opening league win against Real Betis but failed to get on the pitch.
