SPURS boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that he will be looking to sign "three or four more players" before the end of the transfer window.

This figure excludes the signing of Paulo Gazzaniga, who signed for the North London outfit earlier this week for their first deal of the summer.

At a press conference, the Argentinian boss said: "I said four players before. Ok, one keeper plus four. Maybe three more."

The Premier League club have also had strong links with PSG ace Serge Aurier, but the boss refused to discuss the rumour that the defender wants to leave this summer.

Pochettino said: "That is rumour. We cannot confirm nothing until something happens.

"There are many, many players like always in the media. But you know I can confirm nothing.

"I never speak about rumour. Always my full respect always to other clubs or players that are maybe in negotiations with us or other clubs."

Tottenham have endured a torrid time in terms of transfers, with Gazzaniga's recent appointment marking the first of the summer.

Pochettino also secured the signature of Ajax ace Davinson Sanchez earlier this week for a fee of £35million.

Club-record signing Sanchez will wear the No6 shirt and will be battling for a spot within Spurs well-knit defence.

However, with the transfer market set to end of August 31 - the Spurs boss must act quickly.
