Ex-Fulham attacking midfielder has sealed a return to Celtic Park after spending 18 months on loan in Glasgow
MANCHESTER CITY wonderkid Patrick Roberts has returned to Celtic on loan.
The 20-year-old spent 18 months with the Scottish champions before returning to the Etihad at the end of last season.
Roberts was linked with moves to Southampton and Nice but instead chose to return to Celtic Park for his second loan spell.
Roberts told Celtic TV: "All the support and love I have been getting has been brilliant.
"I love it here and I'm thankful to be finally here."
In his first stint in Scotland he lifted two Scottish Premierships, one Scottish Cup and a League Cup.
The nine-cap England Under-20 international joined Man City from Fulham back in 2015 – after the youngster had made just 19 league appearances for the Londoners.
After just a single league appearance for City, he was shipped off on loan to Celtic on an 18-month deal in the January of 2016.
