Liverpool vs Sevilla: Philippe Coutinho ‘fit and healthy’ for Champions League clash as Brazil ace looks to make first appearance of the season
PHILIPPE COUTINHO is set to put his deadline day heartache behind him as Liverpool prepare for their Champions League return against Sevilla.
The Brazilian is back training amongst the first-team and looks braced to make his first appearance of the season for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Liverpool have cited Coutinho's absence this season as a back injury whilst he tried to force a dream move to Barcelona.
But he made a huge impact in Brazil's World Cup qualifiers earlier this month when he scored his side's second goal in a 2-0 win over Equador.
And now it appears Coutinho and Klopp will put their differences aside with the German manager looking towards his star man to fire them out of the group stage.
Klopp confirmed he is "fit and healthy" in his press conference but refused to admit whether he will start.
He said: "I could give you an idea at this stage. But I’m sure Liverpool supporters around the world are ready to wait another 24 hours. He is fit, he is healthy.
"All the information about the line-up you will have to wait until tomorrow. But he is here."
