Tottenham ace used to have a rating of just 68 three years ago but now the striker is up there with the very best pipping the likes of Angel Di Maria

HARRY KANE has risen to the top the hard way having endured loan spells at the likes of Leyton Orient and Millwall.

Now the Spurs star has won the Golden Boot two seasons in a row and has been compared to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.

His influence in the Tottenham team has been reflected with his latest FIFA 18 overall rating.

The 24-year-old now boasts a gold card with an 86 rating - equalling the likes of Franck Ribery and topping Paris Saint-Germain star Angel Di Maria.

His shooting has shot up to 87 whilst his dribbling is a very respectable 79.

But just like in real life, his rise on the popular football game has been remarkable.

On FIFA 15, Kane had just broken into the Tottenham first team and only had an overall rating of 68.

Even former Spurs player Cristian Ceballos, who never made a club appearance and now plays his football with Sint-Truidense had a higher rating.

Kane had just bagged 21 league goals in 28 starts in his breakthrough Spurs season when FIFA 16 had just been released.

He was given an overall 78 rating whilst that improved yet again a year after with a 84 overall rating.

Meanwhile Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi wants his rating improved - after bagging a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup.

The Belgian striker was not happy when his player rating was revealed earlier this summer.
