During his trophy-laden tenure at Barca, Guardiola won 13 trophies including three La Ligas and two Champions Leagues.

He then went on to coach Bayern Munich to where the Bavarians won the league in all three seasons of his premiership.

Despite his successes in club management the 46-year-old, whose City contract ends in 2019, has admitted an interest in testing his skills at a different level.

when asked in his interview with BBC's Football Focus whether he would take charge of a national team, he said: "Yes, Spain I think.

"I would like to be a manager in a World Cup, and the Euros, I would like to feel that."

But City fans can relax as the Spaniard has no intention to leave any time soon.

He said: “I am so happy to be here.

"It really depends on the success we have. Big clubs like Manchester City, if you don't win, you don't stay."
